Enabling Technologies
Configurable data fingerprinting and matching technology
Crypdex technology generates data fingerprints in much the same way physical fingerprints are created in the real world. Anyone with a given fingerprint can search an object for matching fingerprints providing they have access to the fingerprint index. With Crypdex, a fingerprint is one-way cryptographic hash, where the fingerprint doesn’t give any additional information about the underyling data it represents - but is still searchable.
Data Fingerprinting
The Crypdex data fingerprinting system is based on a suite of one-way cryptographic hashing algorithms that ensure that no one other than the data controller and authorsied stakeholders, can read the original data.
Fingerprint Matching
Our fingerprint matching engine is sensitive down to small blocks of text, to enable granular inspection, analysis and monitoring of dataset fingerprints without requiring access to the original underlying data.
